The Explosive Survival map is an insanely challenging survival PvE map in which you’ll have to deal with waves upon waves of deadly creepers that all exist for the sole purpose of making your life hell. Unlike most standard survival maps, it doesn’t have any designated ending and there is an infinite amount of waves so the map will keep progressing as long as you manage to keep yourself alive. The objective is to get as high of a score as possible while lasting for as many waves as you can by fighting through the seemingly endless amounts of creepers coming your way.
The Explosive Survival basically consists of a giant creeper that keeps spitting out many regular sized creepers that come your way. The first wave will consist of ten creepers, the second will consist of eleven, the third will consist of twelve, the fourth will consist of thirteen and this keeps going on and on. The next wave will spawn only after you’ve eliminated all the creepers in the previous waves so you won’t need to worry about dealing with multiple waves at the same time. Even though the map might seem a tad bit easy during the first few waves, the difficulty ramps up exponentially as you progress through it so it’s best to stay focused at all times and never get complacent.
It’s important to remember that in the Explosive Survival you won’t just regenerate your health automatically. If you’re short on health and want to recover some then you’ll need to collect the gunpowder that’s been scattered across the map. A single piece of gunpowder will restore half a heart of health. The best part about this map is that it’s available in multiplayer so if you want to go against those annoying creepers alongside a friend then that’s a possibility as well.
