Before we talk about the Eye Friendly in more detail, we want to highlight the fact that this pack has only been designed to change the user-interface of Minecraft which is why if you’re looking for a pack that’ll completely overhaul the game’s look, you should probably keep looking. However, if you simply want a pack that changes the user-interface of Minecraft into something more appealing than the stale vanilla GUI, this pack is certainly worth trying out because the user-interface that it features is extremely well designed and looks significantly better than its vanilla counterpart.
The Eye Friendly resource pack features an interface that looks significantly darker than the vanilla interface, and the darker colors are definitely a good change because the bright GUI of vanilla Minecraft can be a bit too overbearing at times, especially when players are in dark areas and have to open it up. The darker color of the interface looks more appealing and, as it turns out, the item images within the interface look a lot better thanks to these darker colors because the unnecessarily bright vanilla interface tends to make the items look washed out, but that obviously isn’t the case here.
Eye Friendly has a resolution of 16×16 which is the Minecraft standard which is why, as long as you’re playing Minecraft on a computer that can handle the vanilla version of the game without trouble, it’s highly unlikely that this particular pack will cause any performance issues when you use it.
