Who doesn’t enjoy the cute, fluffy floof that is a fox? Well if you’re a farmer raising chickens you probably don’t like the things, but everyone else seems to be in love with the sleek and small animals that remind many of us of our own dogs. The Fox Craft resource pack features a lot of bright, vibrant colors. It should go without saying too, but the standard wolf texture is replaced by an orange fox with black feet, looking like something out of that old Disney movie, The Fox and The Hound. It’s not just mob textures which get a facelift with this pack though.
If you happen to spawn in a desert or on a beach somewhere, you’ll notice sand looks completely different, with shades of colors used to give the surface of the block a wavy, natural look like a large field of sand would actually have after being swept by gusts of wind all day. Some textures, like the enchanting table, are straight out of vanilla Minecraft with no changes put into them whatsoever. Maybe this is because they will be replaced at a later date and maybe this is because that’s just how they’re always going to be – it’s impossible to say at this point.
That’s because the Fox Craft resource pack is still a fairly young pack. It was only released in the middle of July this year, and that’s about 3 months ago based on the time this review is being written. If you can deal with glass, wool and enchanting table textures which are the exact same as normal, then you shouldn’t have any major issues with Fox Craft.
Fox Craft Resource Pack 1.13 Changelogs
- Fixed the horse texture glitch.
- Adding the pack into Minecraft will still say it is incompatible. This is temporary until I finish renaming the textures to the 1.13 format.
- The pack will hopefully be fully 1.13 compatible by the end of the week.
How to install Fox Craft Resource Pack?
- Start Minecraft.
- Click “Options” in the start menu.
- Click “resource packs” in the options menu.
- In the resource packs menu, click “Open resource pack folder”.
- Put the .zip file you downloaded in the resource pack folder.
