Gahlifrex’s Void is a short yet engrossing puzzle map that you’ll probably want to play over and over again because of how creatively built it is. Out of all the adventure maps that have been built for Minecraft in recent times, a vast majority have come loaded with various kinds of features. A lot of adventure maps that come out nowadays have tons of cool things in them like high-quality voiceovers, well thought out plots, intriguing gameplay mechanics, and even massive game worlds for the players to explore. The insane variety of features that these maps have is usually what makes them so enjoyable but, from time to time, certain maps come out that don’t really have all these features but still manage to impress quite a bit, and Gahlifrex’s Void is a prime example of this.
In Gahlifrex’s Void, you get to enter into the depths of the void where you’ll meet Farlaender who’s a skilled user of magical powers. While in the void, you’ll have to use Farlaender’s help in order to learn magical abilities, and, after learning them, you will need to use these magical abilities to overcome the various challenges and obstacles that the map has to offer. The map doesn’t really have any detailed plot or voiceovers, but it’s still extremely engaging thanks to all the intriguing gameplay mechanics that it brings to the table.
Gahlifrex’s Void is single player only so if you were hoping to embark on the adventure alongside a friend then you’ll probably be disappointed. Aside from this, it’s worth bearing in mind that this is definitely one of the shortest adventure maps out there because it can be completed from start to finish in a matter of minutes if you’re skilled at the game. Overall, while Gahlifrex’s Void might not be as feature filled as one would hope, it’s still quite fun to play.
