High Voltage is an exhilarating puzzle map that’s sure to test how skilled you truly are at navigating through the dangerous places that the world of Minecraft has to offer. This map won’t really give you any over the top puzzles and it doesn’t feature any insanely advanced gameplay mechanics either but it still manages to be extremely challenging and also enjoyable because of the one unique mechanic that it brings to the table. It’s not really the kind of map to go to if you’re looking for something innovative. However, if all you want is a simple, addictive, and challenging puzzle experience then you can’t go wrong with High Voltage.
The High Voltage map takes place in a factory and the objective of the map is to somehow escape the factory as quickly as you can. The twist, however, is that the factory’s floor is dangerous and your electricity Level will rise every time you touch it and will keep rising as long as you remain on the floor. If your electricity level ever ends up reaching 100 then you’ll pretty much be fried on the spot and will have to start from scratch. The gameplay is simple yet highly challenging which makes this map quite easy to get into but hard to let go of.
High Voltage also comes with its own resource pack and the best thing about this pack is that it loads automatically so you won’t need to worry about installing it manually. At its release, the High Voltage map had a few bugs with the Redstone lamps but those have been patched out so your experience should be pretty smooth. The map is single player only so if you were hoping to play it alongside a friend then, unfortunately, that won’t be possible.
