If you’ve ever seen a review for Superman 64 in the past, then you know how boring it can be when you have a game that is all about flying through rings in the sky. But the Hyper Elytra map for Minecraft shows that even a simple game about flying through rings can actually be lots of fun when it isn’t a poorly designed piece of garbage loaded with bugs, bad animations, and terrible music. Hyper Elytra gives players wings and has them fly down from the top of the world, trying to go through a series of 45 different rings along the way.
The course is actually mirrored on itself, so it’s also possible for two players to race through it at the same time if each of them picks a different direction and sticks with it. Of course, you can play through the Hyper Elytra map alone, and you really should the first time just so you can get a feel for the whole flying thing. It’s a lot different from just running around and jumping in Minecraft. Unlike many similar maps, PVP is allowed and encouraged here, and if you can smack your opponent and throw them off course while keeping your own run tight, you should.

Doesn’t work, just spawns me on a platform made of bedrock with some command blocks underneath…
