Locked is a puzzle map that aims to test the puzzle solving ability of anyone who gives it a shot. Before we go into any detail about the Locked map, we want to highlight that it’s not really the map to play if you’re looking for something fresh and out of the ordinary because it’s based on some pretty straightforward gameplay concepts that have been around for a while. However, if you’re simply looking for a properly executed puzzle map that can push your skills to the absolute limit, Locked is a map that needs to be on your radar.
In Locked, you play the role of a person who’s trapped inside an abandoned house that there doesn’t seem to be any getting out of and the objective, as you’ve likely guessed, is to figure out a way to escape before it’s too late. Escaping might seem like an extremely easy task at first but, as you play through the map, you’ll realize that this actually isn’t the case because there are various kinds of puzzles that you’ll need to solve before you can escape the house and there are also certain hidden objects that you’ll have to collect. The hidden objects are definitely a pain to locate sometimes because of how cleverly they’re placed but they definitely add a lot of depth to the map’s gameplay so, ultimately, they’re a nice addition.
One important thing that we want to point out is the fact that, while playing the Locked map, you may often feel that you’re trapped in a scenario that there doesn’t seem to be any getting out of but this actually isn’t the case. The map has been tested from start to finish and it’s definitely possible to complete so if you’re ever stuck, try looking around for clues that’ll help you out because there’s always going to be a way to progress further.
