The Logical Element map is a complex and innovative puzzle map that makes very creative use of Logic Gates to provide players with the most engaging experience that a puzzle map could possibly offer. Of course, thereโs no doubting the fact that due to its complexity, Logical Element can be pretty difficult to get the hang of but thankfully it teaches its players all the basics of play at the very beginning to help them get settled into things, and this makes sure that they have a good understanding of how everything functions in the map and therefore wonโt have to struggle with the core gameplay mechanics.
Logical Element consists of a total of 30 levels as well as a couple of bonus levels. Each level has a bunch of levers and lights that youโll be playing around with. The objective in each level is to adjust the levels in a way that all the lights are turned on, and once this is done, youโll be allowed to move on to the next level. This might sound pretty simple, but the twist is that between all the levers are a bunch of different logic gates and diodes that you will have to keep track of. The levers basically have to be adjusted according to the gates, and this will be no easy task since each gate behaves differently.
If you can manage to master all the basics of the Logical Element map then youโll unlock the bonus room, and this room has lots of special gates as well as other fun things that you can tinker around with. In the bonus room, there are even certain things that might be included in the successor of this map if one is ever released. In terms of play-time, Logical Element will definitely take a fair bit of time to complete due to the complexity of the logic gates. According to creator Sebastiansa, it takes him up to 15 minutes to complete the map in spite of the fact that he knows all of its solutions.
