The map brings a full-fledged virtual board game into Minecraft and it’s definitely one of the most enjoyable maps we’ve seen in quite some time thanks to its refreshing gameplay and top notch execution. Of course, it goes without saying that you won’t be able to play the Makers Party map by yourself because board games aren’t meant to be single player. Fortunately, as long as you have a few friends around, you’re in for a great time when playing this map.
The gameplay of Makers Party is of course turn based as it should be and the core objective of the map is to collect stars. The first player to get to 30 stars will be the winner so you’ll have to outthink your opponents in order to come out on top. When the map starts off, you’ll have to pick from a variety of iconic characters and, once you get into the gameplay, you’ll have to drop your dice in order to roll it. Once the dice have stopped, you’ll have to jump and move forward depending on what the dice landed on.
The Makers Party map is filled with a variety of special tiles that activate bonus effects whenever you step on them. Some of the tiles can make things go in your favor whereas other tiles can put you at a disadvantage. The map also has a shop through which you can purchase various bonuses for yourself through coins earned by rolling dice and stepping on colored tiles. All said and done, Makers Party is a spectacular board game map that does not cease to impress.
