Mega Man X Resource Pack

As the name implies, Mega Man X is a resource pack that’s been inspired by the Mega Man franchise and, although this definitely isn’t the first pack of its kind, it’s still among the best options available if you’re looking for a Mega Man inspired resource pack. One rather surprising thing about the Mega Man X resource pack is the fact that it’s actually been in development for almost six years and only recently surfaced. However, the long development time definitely ends up paying off for this pack because it’s been pulled off with perfection and can certainly enhance your Minecraft experience to a whole new level.

Although the Mega Man franchise has given us a lot of exceptional games over the years, the Mega Man X resource pack only focuses on the first three games from the Mega Man X series which is perhaps one of the best series of games to come from this franchise. The pack features tons upon tons of different blocks, items, mobs with visuals that have been inspired by the Mega Man X games and, in terms of detail, these textures are absolutely phenomenal. The color palette could certainly use a bit of tuning in certain areas but, all things considered, the textures are a treat to look at and are sure to be a hit with fans of the Mega Man franchise.

Mega Man X has a resolution of 32×32 which is a small step above the standard x16 but, unless you have an extremely low-end PC that struggles to run even vanilla Minecraft properly, it’s unlikely that you’ll have any problems getting this pack to run at a stable frame-rate.

How to install Mega Man X Resource Pack?

1. Start Minecraft.
2. Click “Options” in the start menu.
3. Click “resource packs” in the options menu.
4. In the resource packs menu, click “Open resource pack folder”.
5. Put the .zip file you downloaded in the resource pack folder.
