MineParkour is an exceptional Minecraft parkour map that oozes creativity and is one that we highly recommend giving a shot to because, while parkour maps themselves are definitely quite engaging and addicting, innovation is something thatโs rather hard to come by in this particular map category as most maps tend to keep utilizing the same tried and true mechanics that have been around for such a long time instead of attempting something out of the ordinary. Fortunately, MineParkour takes a completely different approach to the gameplay and the end result is a stellar experience that you simply wonโt be able to get enough of.
Gameplay
At its core, MineParkour is a pretty straightforward map in which your objective is to parkour from the starting line to the finish line. However, the catch here is that actually arenโt any blocks in the way that you can jump through to reach the finish line and, instead, youโll actually have to place your own blocks to carve a path to the end of each level. Itโs important to remember that, while youโll definitely have access to powerful blocks such as jump boost and extra speed, thereโs a very scarce quantity of these blocks available which is why you must make sure that every single one of them counts. Having to place blocks manually in order to make a path is definitely a creative change that makes MineParkour stand out from the crowd.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
The MineParkour map is pretty solid on a technical level but one crucial thing youโll need to remember is that the map is for single-player only and ends up crashing when more than one player is on the map so itโs best to avoid attempting multiplayer for the time being. The map is available for Minecraft 1.14.4 so youโll need to have the same version of the game to play it without running into compatibility troubles.
