Many Minecraft players will agree that the Nether is one of the most dangerous places that exist in the game. Whenever you enter the Nether, you need to be prepared for anything because itโs filled with creepy mobs who will not hesitate to hunt you down the moment they see you. The Nether Run map takes players into the heart of this wretched place in order to provide them with some of the most intriguing, challenging, and thrilling parkour moments that theyโve ever experienced. This isnโt really a map that you should play if youโre new to Minecraft parkour but if you feel confident in your skills, then itโs sure to provide an experience unlike any other.
In Nether Run youโre basically taken somewhere in the middle of the Nether and are assigned the task of fleeing from the place as quickly as possible. The twist is that while running through the place, you also need to avoid the Ghast thatโs chasing you and wants to take you down at all costs. You need to avoid the Netherโs lava while also overcoming the various kinds of parkour obstacles that will come your way as you play through this map. Itโs important to remember that the Ghast has a ranged attack as well that youโll need to dodge if you want to make it out alive.
Nether Run is full of gimmicks that make the experience more challenging such as randomly appearing and disappearing blocks, moving bridges, the annoying soul sand that slows down your pace, the flame thrower, and of course the enemies that seem to keep spawning right in the middle of your path. To make the experience more immersive, the map features its own custom music thatโll load automatically once it starts up. Nether Run has been made for Minecraft 1.10.2 so be sure to use it with the same version otherwise, youโll run into lots of technical issues.
