Pad Parkour is a fascinating parkour map that allows players to enjoy an intriguing new setting that’s quite unlike anything else that this genre of maps has had to offer before. Most parkour maps follow a pretty linear pattern in which one theme seems to recur over and over again and, while these maps are certainly fun to play, they do become slightly dull and even a little bit repetitive after a while so players tend to stop playing them before the end. However, Pad Parkour doesn’t have this issue because it manages to fit in a variety of different themes and settings into the mix in order to give players an experience that’ll stay fresh from the first minute to the last.
The Pad Parkour map basically has ten stages consisting of different kinds of 3×3 pads and each 3×3 pad has its own unique theme. The 3×3 pad-based gameplay is something that’s rarely, if ever, been seen before in the parkour map category but it’s certainly a great concept that brings quite a lot of depth to the experience and actually feels like a breath of fresh air because, as fun as parkour maps are, they’ve certainly been getting a tad bit stale over the years.
It’s worth keeping in mind that, in terms of gameplay, Pad Parkour seems to focus on jumping more than anything else so, if your jumping skills aren’t up to par, you’re definitely going to struggle as you make your way through the map. However, as long as you have a grasp of the basics of Minecraft parkour, it’s unlikely that you’ll have any major trouble getting to the end of all the levels. All said and done, Pad Parkour is a great map that’s refreshing, innovative, and, of course, quite enjoyable.
