PhoenixCraft is fairly new resource pack that might be a tad bit rough around the edges but, all things considered, it’s a pack that’s certainly worth keeping on your radar because it shows a lot of potential and can definitely grow into a top-tier pack provided that it receives the updates it needs. The pack has been designed to give Minecraft a smoother look while implementing a medieval-themed art style to it and, while this particular art style definitely isn’t all that unique, this pack seems to execute it in a flawless manner thereby making it a lot better than most run-of-the-mill medieval themed packs out there.
Since one of the goals of the PhoenixCraft resource pack is to maintain a smooth look for the game, you’ll notice that the pack’s textures don’t necessarily have all that much detail in them. Fortunately, the lackluster amount of detail isn’t that big of an issue in this particular case because of the pack’s intriguing art style and also due to the fact that there doesn’t seem to be any noise in the textures. It’s also worth noting that the PhoenixCraft resource pack has a vibrant color scheme backing up its textures and these colors definitely do a great job of elevating the textures to another level. One unique characteristic in the PhoenixCraft resource pack is the custom made sun that seems to have its own arms, and this definitely gives the game a distinct look that you can’t get with other packs.
PhoenixCraft’s textures have a resolution of 16×16 so, as long as you have a computer that can handle the vanilla version of Minecraft at stable frame-rates, you’ll be able to make use of this resource pack without any issues.
