RoopePack is a pretty standard resource pack that tries to add a sense of semi-realism to Minecraft while also trying to retain its default look. Making the game look more realistic while simultaneously maintaining its vanilla art style is a bit of a challenge but this pack does a pretty good job of it. If you’re one of the players who enjoy how Minecraft’s original art style looks but feel like it use a bunch of subtle improvements as well as a texture uplift, then this particular pack might be exactly what you’re looking for. It might not be the most refined resource pack available, but a considerable audience of players will still probably want to try it out because of the specific niche that it fills.
RoopePack resource pack is completely self-made from start to finish so its textures give off a distinct look that you won’t be able to find in pretty much any other resource pack. Its textures are crisp, highly detailed and look incredibly clean in spite of the insane level of detail that they consist of. It doesn’t use overly bright colors, and this is probably to enforce the art style that it tries to convey.
As for variants, RoopePack resource pack was originally available in three variants which were 16×16, 32×32 and 64×64 but the x16 variant has recently been discontinued so it won’t be updated like the other two. The x32 choice is great for players who are running Minecraft on a low-end machine and want a smoother frame-rate whereas the x64 choice is good for players who play Minecraft on a high-end PC and aren’t worry about any potential frame-rate issues. RoopePack is fully compatible with Minecraft 1.10 and 1.10.2, so if you’ve already updated your client, then you won’t need to worry about downgrading if you want to use this pack.
