Before going into any further detail about the Sequence Map it’s worth mentioning beforehand that this is developer Devin Illy’s first attempt at making a puzzle map so it might not show the level of polish and finesse that puzzle maps designed by more experienced developers do but nonetheless it’s a pretty solid map that’s more than capable of providing players with a pretty tough challenge. As the name suggests, the Sequence map requires players to complete sequences by figuring out the various patterns that they consist of.
The Sequence map has a total of six levels for players to complete so it isn’t necessarily the longest out there and can be finished in under half an hour. The levels become increasingly tougher as you progress through the map, but the core objective of each one remains the same. In order to complete the level, you have to look at the given sequence and recognize what block is missing from it. Once you’ve figured this out all you have to do is simply place the missing block in the appropriate location, and if the sequence is completed by your block, then you’ll be allowed to progress further onto the next level. The map also has a fun easter egg that you’ll be able to locate if you keep an eye out for every small detail.
Although the Sequence map has primarily been designed for single player play, it can still be played multiplayer if you have a few friends who enjoy playing puzzle maps. There’s no restriction to how many players can play multiplayer at the same time, but it’s recommended that you keep the players to a maximum of three otherwise the mod will begin to have a bunch of technical issues that might end up crashing the whole game for you. Overall, the Sequence map is a simple and enjoyable puzzle solving map that’s sure to impress.
