Serene HD Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.11/1.10.2

Serene HD is an absolutely gorgeous resource pack that’s been made to add a sense of realism to Minecraft while also making the game look significantly smoother and more tranquil than it usually does. Although vanilla Minecraft looks quite nice overall, there’s no shaking the fact that its textures look a tad bit overbearing at times since there’s way too much noise in them and the same can actually be said for a variety of modern day resource packs as well. Serene HD guarantees realistic looking visuals for Minecraft that make the game look stunning while also making it easier on the eyes.

The defining trait of the Serene HD resource pack is that the game looks incredibly peaceful once it’s been applied which is primarily due to the fact that the pack’s textures don’t have any redundant detail in them. Normally, a lot of resource packs tend to overflow their textures with tons upon tons of detail that just ends up making them look noisy and even slightly clunky, but that isn’t the case with Serene HD. The color palette is also slightly less bright than usual, but this actually helps make the textures look sleeker and more visually appealing.

Serene HD’s textures have a resolution of x32 which isn’t really all that high, but it’s more than enough to pull off the art style that this pack has been built on. It’s worth mentioning that the pack only alters the game’s environment, block textures, and item textures, so other visual aspects such as the mob designs, the user-interface, and the animations remain as they are with vanilla Minecraft.
