Any resource pack which manages to cram some custom sound effects into Minecraft is usually worth a look. The Sibogy’s ZAROXITE Craft pack is no exception to this unspoken but understood a rule of resource packs. However, the new sounds aren’t really the primary focus here. While it’s nice to hear different patterns of sounds when breaking stone or performing other operations with your tools, most players would agree that they see the significant changes to the world around them before they hear anything. This is understandable since people are visual creatures by habit – we all tend to see before we hear.
Many of the grasses and shorter flowers which are a single block high look to be part of the landscape rather than stick out from it like they do in vanilla Minecraft. This can make it harder to spot poppy and dandelion flowers while running quickly through an area, but the others have brighter colors and are therefore easier to spot. Besides ore and gem blocks, caves are nothing but black and gray gradients. This is a little more realistic, yes, but it also leads to a very limited scope of color when you’re playing around underground, which happens to be one of the main parts of Minecraft.

The colorful textures back on the world above make those forays into the underground a bit more tolerable though. Customized item textures, icons and even mobs make the Sibogy’s ZAROXITE Craft resource pack a very thorough pack, since it changes just about everything there is to see in Minecraft. Again, it even changes some of the things which can be heard, such as the moo of cows and the hungry growl that issues from zombies as they creep closer to the player.
