Sky Runner is a breathtaking parkour map for players who want something that’s different from the traditional parkour maps of Minecraft. Instead of taking place in a generic setting, Sky Runner takes places to the skies where they must complete multiple different kinds of expertly crafted parkour sequences by utilizing their skills. Sky Runner is definitely one of the higher quality parkour maps of recent times and, thanks to its intriguing setting, it’s more than worth playing. As for its difficulty, the map isn’t necessarily all that difficult, but it’s not easy by any means either so you’ll still need to be decent at Minecraft parkour in order to get through it.
In Sky Runner, you’ll get to make your way through 10 different levels that all take place in the sky. The biggest highlight of this map is the fact that, in these ten levels, there are over thirty different kinds of unique parkour sequences ranging from vine to speed to fence to the boat. This is without a doubt the largest variety of parkour maps that we’ve seen in a single parkour map, and it does an excellent job of making sure that the gameplay remains fresh and interesting from the very first moment to the last. The map also features a lot of checkpoints that you can use along the way to save your progress thereby ensuring that you won’t be set back by a significant amount if you ever end up making a misstep.
In order to play the Sky Runner map, you’ll need to set your game mode to adventure, the difficulty to peaceful, and the render distance to a minimum of 8. If you don’t adjust these settings, the map will likely cease to function as it’s supposed to and will probably run into a whole bunch of different technical issues.
