The Line Runner is a rather clever Minecraft map that does an excellent job of blending together parkour concepts with a few puzzle elements to give players a refreshing and enjoyable experience thatโs definitely unlike any other. Designed by SuperSlimeySquid, The Line Runner hasnโt been out for even a month now and has already been downloaded over five thousand times which speaks volumes about its quality and execution. Itโs pretty fun to play, but one very important thing to remember about it is that itโs definitely way more challenging than the average parkour map so it might take a bit of extra effort to complete.
The concept of The Line Runner map is fairly simple on paper. The objective, as the name suggests, is to run along the given line until you reach the checkpoint. The kicker though is that the lines are riddled with various obstacles that youโll need to avoid and overcome somehow. Another thing that brings an interesting gameplay dynamic is the fact that a single line will often split into multiple different ones as you progress through it and youโll need to figure out which of these lines will is the most optimal choice. Once youโve gotten a bit further into The Line Runner, youโll also run into paths with slime blocks.
In order to make sure that all players have an enjoyable experience and everything functions as itโs supposed to, The Line Runner comes with two crucial rules that everyone needs to keep in mind. The first rule is that the game needs to bit set to 12 chunks and the second rule is that you need to play on peaceful. The map also comes with a multiplayer mode which is great for those who enjoy going through parkour sequences alongside their friends.
