It’s amazing how much modern architecture finds its way into Minecraft when you consider the game is fairly primitive – we’re talking about people living in caves and holes they dig in the ground here. But this Small Modern Home is actually one of the nicer bits of modern construction. Situated alongside a river, it allows for plenty of fishing and boating opportunities, but it’s also a sizeable home. It features a garage, a spacious living room, an all-wood kitchen, and even entertainment areas, like the billiard room. With the right mods and some tweaking, this home could be the best in all of Minecraft.
As it is, this Small Modern Home is just a large place to live. Really, it’s not small at all for a single occupant, and even two people could live comfortably in the place with enough room for them both to store whatever they want. The home has multiple floors along with some fairly fantastic views during the hours of dusk and dawn when the sun is just going down at the end of the day or rising at the beginning. There don’t appear to be any NPC villages or other structures in the immediate area either, so the home has a certain isolated feeling as well.
