Speed Reading Parkour is without a doubt one of the most intriguing and creative parkour maps to surface in recent times because it adds a really creative twist to the core gameplay that not only makes things significantly more challenging but also ends up adding a ton of depth to the overall gameplay experience. This is a map that we highly recommend giving a shot if you’re on the hunt for a parkour map that offers an experience that is out of the ordinary. It’s important to highlight, though, that this is definitely among the more challenging parkour maps available so we recommend steering clear of the map unless you’re adept at Minecraft parkour and are confident in your abilities to overcome any challenge in your path.
The Speed Reading Parkour map will not only test your parkour skills but, at the same time, it’ll test your knowledge of Minecraft as well because it comes with a really neat trivia element that requires players to answer questions during the parkour sequences if they want to keep progressing further. Having to answer questions while simultaneously ensuring that you don’t miss any crucial jump is an extremely challenging activity but, if you can manage to pull it off, you’ll get a feeling of satisfaction that’ll be worth all the effort you put into the map.
One crucial thing that we want to point out is the fact that Speed Reading Parkour requires players to have a frame rate of at least 20 FPS if they want to be able to read the trivia questions correctly. If you play Minecraft on a low-end PC that struggles with frame-rate and the game constantly dips below 15 for you then this is a map that you’ll likely want to avoid because you won’t be able to enjoy everything it has to offer. All said and done, though, Speed Reading Parkour is a thrilling and innovative parkour map that we definitely recommend players try out if they want their skills pushed to the brink.
