SpongeQuest is an addicting puzzle map that promises to have its players engaged from the moment that it starts to the moment that it ends. The map was in development for 2 weeks and, finally, it’s been released for players to use. This is a map that we absolutely recommend puzzle fanatics try out because it brings together every single good thing about the entire genre and adds a variety of new features on top of these things in order to give players a memorable experience that they won’t ever forget.
The SpongeQuest map features a total of 18 different levels, and each level has its own unique puzzles for players to complete. Each level has been divided into five different sections, and it’s up to you to work your way through each one of these sections and find a way to the exit. The map has a variety of special gameplay elements that aren’t usually a part of puzzle maps such as hidden chests and jump scares, but these elements actually synergize nicely with the gameplay and make the overall experience a lot more enjoyable than it normally would’ve been.
The SpongeQuest map has over a hundred different command blocks, so you’ll need to enable command blocks if you’re playing this map on a server because it won’t function properly otherwise. The map’s been thoroughly tested and doesn’t seem to have any major bugs that would hinder the experience, and this is why your experience with it will likely be bug-free. All things considered, SpongeQuest is a great puzzle map that doesn’t really innovate in any way, but it’s still more than worth trying out because it brings together all the best things that define the puzzle map category and adds new features to the mix as well.
