There are plenty of custom Minecraft maps out there which are loaded with puzzles, mazes and other things that take lots of time to figure out the first time a player runs through them. With Minecraft 1.8.4 releasing recently, there are a few other possibilities which came just come to light. Namely, the Spot the Difference map takes advantage of some new features to give players a real-time version of a classic puzzle, where the user sees one image for a time, then a new image where many things have changed from the first image. The difficulty is in finding the changes, which are often very minute.

Spot the Difference features a very specific tutorial which is great for showing new players how to actually interact with the map. The first time you play, you will definitely want to give this tutorial a go, or else you’ll find yourself confused and possibly frustrated by a map which should normally be lots of fun to play. This map features 25 different levels, with clues which are progressively more difficult to find. The quick detection system is the main feature which makes Spot the Difference work, and it’s something you shouldn’t really mess with unless you’re ready to break the map.
