The 100 Levels is a Minecraft adventure map that doesn’t really follow the traditional design of adventure maps because it’s built on a level-based format which is something that you don’t usually see in adventure maps. Nonetheless, though, the map’s still quite fun to play because its level design is actually nothing short of incredible and, alongside this, it also has all the elements that define a top-notch adventure map such as engaging gameplay and, of course, captivating story that’ll have players hooked until they’ve seen the map through to the very end.
In order to avoid giving out spoilers that would hinder your experience, we won’t really be getting into the depth of the plot of The 100 Levels map but, one thing we will say is that the story is fairly well thought out and it’s definitely capable of grabbing onto your attention from the first minute and keeping you completely immersed until the end. The core gameplay itself is extremely well-designed and it’s based primarily on the tried and true fundamentals of the adventure map category so it’s highly unlikely that you’ll find anything out of the ordinary while playing.
The core gameplay of The 100 Levels is great but what truly sets this map apart from the crowd is the insane variety of bonus features that it brings to the table. For instance, the mod has various Easter eggs and secrets that players can uncover, there are different kinds of trophies to collect, mini-games to play, and even fun bonus levels to enjoy. On top of all this, the map even gives players the tools necessary to create their very own levels and this is something that we’ve rarely, if ever, seen before in the adventure map category. Overall, The 100 Levels is a map that’s certainly going to be worth anyone’s while due to the insane array of features that it brings to the table.
