To reminisce is to remember, typically in a fond fashion and not with negative overtones. Usually it’s remembering something good. But what is there to remember in The Lands of Reminiscence? Unless you’ve already played the map once or twice, the answer is simple: nothing. All the experiences will be new and therefore you couldn’t possibly have anything to remember, having never experienced it in the first place. But you can rest assured, if you and your friends do play on the map extensively you’ll create some memories of your own – fond ones, hopefully – which you can reminisce about later.
The Lands of Reminiscence is a Minecraft map of massive scale. It features large spans of custom terrain, with many man-made features to be found throughout, such as deep dungeons, lively villages, mines loaded with ore and much more. There is an especially sweet and small island located in the middle of the map, floating on a massive lake. But if you do some exploring, you’ll find many remarkable locations such as this; the map is literally loaded with them. The map is large and features most if not all of the biomes available in Minecraft, so it’s perfect for a Hardcore Let’s Play if that’s something you enjoy.
