The Undermine Challenge is a rather unique parkour map that manages to enhance the gameplay by adding a bunch of puzzles related elements into the mix. If you were to ask Minecraft players which map categories are the most difficult, most people would probably reply by saying parkour and puzzle. This is probably true because both puzzle and parkour maps are infamous for pushing their players to the limit. The Undermine Challenge manages to bring together the gameplay elements of both these map categories together to make for an experience that’s refreshing and, at the same time, quite challenging.
In The Undermine Challenge you basically ender an abandon building that’s in the middle of an abandoned area thinking that the place is worth investigating but once you get into the place you realize that it’s completely different on the inside than it looks from the outside and this causes you to get even more curious. The map consists of 1 main level, but the catch is that this 1 level has been split into 6 different mini levels that you’ll need to overcome. In each level, you’ll have to go through maze-like parkour sequences as quickly as possible while avoiding any obstacles that may hider your progress. The map might seem a tad bit difficult at times, but it’s been tested and verified bug-free by three different testers, so you don’t need to worry about the jumps being impossible.
It’s recommended that you use /gamemode 2 to play this map in order to avoid any technical difficulties. While you can probably play in other gamemodes, it’s still recommended that you use 2 because that particular mode is guaranteed to be without issues whereas certain bugs that you’d much rather avoid may end up surfacing in other game modes.
