Tropical Wipeout is a Minecraft map that we recommend absolutely everyone to try out because it offers a thrilling and highly engaging experience and has been inspired by the hugely popular show called Wipeout that quite a few players are likely familiar with. For those who don’t know about Wipeout, it was a show in which people had to go through a series of bizarre challenges without getting wiped out and falling off the course. The show itself was quite enjoyable and, as it turns out, the Tropical Wipeout map shares this characteristic. The map does an excellent job of replicating the energetic atmosphere of the show and offers highly engaging gameplay that players won’t be disappointed with.
Gameplay
The Tropical Wipeout map is based on the same fundamentals as the show itself but it features a tropical setting which definitely feels more refreshing. Throughout the entirety of the map, you’ll have to make your way through various custom jumps and challenges in which even the slightest mistake can cause you to get wiped out. The map is quite nice to look at as well thanks to the custom models, decorations, and even custom tree models that it brings to the table.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
Tropical Wipeout doesn’t have any complex gameplay mechanics and this is one of the key reasons why it seems to be solid on a technical level and doesn’t consist of any significant bugs that would surface to hinder your experience. The map is out for Minecraft 1.14.4 so this is the version of the game you’ll need in order to play it.
