Although TWBW – Adventures in Woolshun has primarily been categorized as a parkour map, there’s actually a lot more to it than meets the eye because this is a map that’s filled to the brim with content for players to enjoy and, perhaps the most impressive thing of all, is the fact that it gives players an actual sense of purpose. Most parkour maps require players to make their way through tons upon tons of challenging sequences simply for the sake of the thrill but this particular map comes with a properly thought out plot so you’ll feel an actual purpose as you make your way through it.
The TWBW – Adventures in Woolshun map, as the name suggests, takes players in a place known as Woolshun. There are various towns in Woolshun but the mayor of your town believes that the nearby town is planning to create weapons to destroy Woolshun entirely so he’s sent you to figure out if this is true and, if it actually is, it’s up to you to stop it somehow. The plot isn’t as in-depth as it potentially could be but the fact that it exists is more than enough to make the experience significantly more immersive than it would’ve been without one.
Alongside having its own plot, TWBW – Adventures in Woolshun comes with a variety of new gameplay elements as well. There are multiple regions to parkour through and, throughout your experience, you’ll get to slay various kinds of mobs and, from time to time, there will even be boss battles for you to test your skills in. Some people might not like the fighting in-between the parkour, though, so it is certainly worth pointing out that a lot of these fights are optional and you can simply parkour through them if you don’t feel like engaging in combat.
