Zombie World is an enthralling Minecraft map in which your survival skills are going to be put to the ultimate test as you try your best to make your way through the waves upon waves of zombies that seem to show no signs of ever slowing down. This is a map that you should definitely check out if you enjoy PvE experiences because, as far as maps of this particular category is concerned, Zombie World is among the absolute best we’ve played and it can have you hooked for quite some time if you give it a shot.
Gameplay
Zombie World is a survival-style PvE map in which the game world consists of multiple zombie spawners that keep bringing zombies back from the dead and your objective is to slay as many of these as you possibly can by utilizing the variety of weapons and power-ups at your disposal. The map consists of two different game modes with one being the standard survival mode in which you’ll have to survive for one Minecraft night and the second being the endless mode in which you’ll have to survive for as long as you possibly can to get the highest score. There are currently two separate maps that you can play on in Zombie World and each of these features a solid design that you won’t be disappointed with at all. Finally, it’s worth highlighting that the Zombie World map comes with 4 difficulty settings that you can choose from depending on how challenging you want your experience to be.
Compatibility and Technical Aspects
The Zombie World map is compatible with version 1.14.4 of Minecraft and doesn’t seem to have any major technical issues so it’s a map that you’ll be able to run without any trouble at all as long as you play it on the correct version of the game.
Features
- SCORE: The score is collected by killing a light blue “score” slime that zombies drop.
- POWER-UP: You shoot more bullets once you reach a certain power-up value. You can power-up up to 3 times.
- POINT-VALUE: Defines the number of points you earn from killing score slimes.
- RANK: Allows more zombies to spawn, the max value depends on the difficulty you are playing. Multiplies your score at the end by your rank’s value.
- BOMBS: You earn a +1 bomb when reaching score milestones. These can clear every zombie on the map.
- RECORDSAVING: This game contains a feature that allows you to save your stats once you die/win. You can have up to 6 saves at one time you can look at in the lobby.2
- GAME MODES: You get to choose between playing: Survival and Endless
- SELECTABLE DIFFICULTY: Choose between 4 game difficulties that change the stuff you start with and allow the game to get harder.
