With the release of Episode 7, The Force Awakens, Star Wars has seen an insane surge of popularity in recent and all this hype has finally found its way into Minecraft with this mod. Basically, if you’re a Star Wars person, then you can’t go wrong with Astromech Droids. It will fill up your Minecraft game world with a whole bunch of all the popular droids from the series like R2D2, BB-8 and much more. You’ll need Minecraft Forge to run it properly so make sure you have it installed before applying this mod.

You’ll find all the R2 series, R3 series, R4 series and R5 series droids in this mod which shows that a lot of effort has gone into designing it. Alongside all these you’ll also find the latest droid which is the BB-8. The BB-8 was a part of the most recent Star Wars movie so fans will definitely enjoy seeing him in the game.

Although the mod was pretty basic when it was first released, since then it has seen a lot of changes.
