Autofood Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10

Food is an important part of Minecraft, at least if you’re not playing on Creative mode. Starving to death can be annoying in Survival and tragic in Hardcore mode, but it still happens to people, sometimes when they have a chest back at home just loaded with tasty vittles. One of the big problems with food is eating it. Eating slows you down to a crawl, making you very vulnerable to any monsters or unfriendly players who might be nearby. It also makes a lot of noise, again making you an easy target for anyone who might be sneaking around in the area, listening for somebody to attack.

The Autofood mod from Immibis takes the hassle out of eating by making it an automatic operation. You won’t need to stop to feed yourself any more than you would need to stop to take a breath or fire a bow. Well, technically you do kind of slow down and almost stop when shooting, but that’s not the point. With the iron and bread block added by this mod, you get an automatic feeder that takes care of everything for you. It even comes with a massive storage space for holding a great deal of food, so you don’t need to load it up as often as those clever refrigerators made from dispensers.

Your automatic feeder will feed you and every other player who enters the 17x17x17 block radius around it. That means you can be above, below or around the feeder block and as long as you’re within a set distance, it will feed you. By feeding standard golden apples to the block, you can increase its range all the way up to 49x49x49, though that is a massive investment. The Autofood mod is definitely worth a download, if only for the time it will save you from eating.
