If you have been playing Minecraft for a significant amount of time then, you’ve probably run into your fair share of instances in which you were in dire need of food but had access to none. It’s times like these in which a person wishes that they could go down the cannibalism route as a last resort. The Cannibalism Mod is designed with these exact situations in mind. It allows players to consume their very own flesh which is something that can be a potential lifesaver in certain situations. This is definitely one of the most original mods out there and is a very well executed one as well.
The Cannibalism Mod does what it does by implementing the Knife into the game. Basically, every time you use the Knife you will take a whole bunch of damage and drop a piece of flesh. This piece of flesh can be consumed at a later time when necessary to regain a significant amount of health. The whole concept sounds rather gross, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a really convenient way to restore health at a crucial time. It’s also worth keeping in mind that you can use the Knife to get a hold of other people’s flesh as well which is a good way to avoid hurting yourself.
The Knife isn’t the only thing implemented by the Cannibalism Mod. Alongside all the usual stuff it also features a unique mob as well which spawns once you go a bit overboard with the cannibalism. This mob is absurdly difficult to handle, so you probably want to avoid dealing with it at all costs. Fortunately, this mob can be disabled in the settings of the mod so you won’t be forced to fight against it which is an option that a lot of players will appreciate.
