EasterEgg Mod for Minecraft 1.8.9/1.8/1.7.10

The EasterEgg mod is pretty fitting during this time of the year since it is after all the time of Easter. The mod is fairly well constructed and will definitely be enjoyed quite a lot by players who like to test their luck. It implements a total of 32 of easter eggs into the game, each with its own unique textures, color and design. 16 of these are small eggs, and 16 of these are large eggs. The size difference is mainly just visual, so both large and small eggs have the same purposes and uses. Other than the eggs the mod also adds special chocolate that can be acquired through various different means.

Through the EasterEgg mod, you’ll be able to get your hands on some fairly rare items. Whenever you find an easter egg, you’ll be able to break it, and once an egg is broken it’ll drop an item. Each egg drops a single item, and there are over 200 different kinds of items that they can potentially drop. Most of these are quite rare and useful so if you’re lucky enough you might just be able to get your hands on them through the eggs.

If you don’t want to crack the eggs of the EasterEgg mod, then you can also use them as decorations, and they actually serve nicely as decorations because they look very appealing. In order to use an egg as a decoration simply shift + click it with an empty hand in order to pick it up, and once you’ve picked it up, it can be placed wherever you want. The mod doesn’t have any kinds of technical issues, but one important thing to keep in mind about it is that it still hasn’t been updated to work with Minecraft 1.9 which might put a few players off but other than this there shouldn’t be any other issue.
