Extreme Animals is a Minecraft mod that stayed in development for quite some time and the amount of content that it actually brings to the table is certainly a testament to the insane amount of effort that’s gone into making it. The mod, as the name suggests, has been designed to add a bunch of animals to Minecraft and, while there are certainly are similar mods available for players to try out, Extreme Animals manages to set itself apart from the crowd by giving the animals a variety of unique traits that make things quite interesting for the players whenever they come in contact with these animals.
The Extreme Animals mod features over 20 different animals and the amount of detail in each one of these animals is absolutely insane. Although the variety of animals is certainly quite impressive on its own, the thing that actually defines this mod is the fact that each individual animal has its own unique weapon that it can utilize and this is something that we’ve pretty much never seen before even though we’ve had quite a lot of experience with similar mods over the past few years. The weapons include things like Stink Bombs for Skunks, Jaw Gloves for Crocodiles and a variety of other different weapons, each catered to a different kind of animal.
On top of the animals and their weapons, Extreme Animals comes with an insane array of creatively designed items that players can make use of on their Minecraft adventures in order to get some assistance wherever necessary. Some of the items featured in the mod can take a while to craft because of their recipes but, in the end, they’re definitely worthwhile due to how big of an impact they can end up having on the game.
