For those who don’t know what Kakariko Village, it’s basically a location in the series of Zelda games that players go to quite frequently. It’s a pretty iconic place, so it’s no surprise that there’s now a resource pack that’s based on it. The Kakariko Village does a near perfect job of capturing the visuals of the iconic village and then replicating them in Minecraft so, if you’re a fan of the Zelda games and enjoy visiting the village that this pack is based on, you’ll definitely enjoy the high-quality visuals that it has to offer.
Perhaps the best thing about the Kakariko Village resource pack is the fact that it comes with a completely reskinned user-interface that’s a delight to look at. The user-interface of this pack is absolutely spectacular and, unlike the traditional interface of Minecraft, it doesn’t look clunky at all and is actually quite sleek. Alongside the user-interface, the Kakariko Village resource pack features completely revamped environment textures as well as tons of new item textures that look straight up gorgeous. The pack also gives new textures to a lot of in-game mobs, but it’s worth keeping in mind that there are still a few mobs that are in their vanilla state and haven’t been changed.
The Kakariko Village resource pack has a resolution of 16×16 so, as long as your PC can handle vanilla Minecraft without frame-rate troubles, it’ll be able to handle this pack as well. It’s worth keeping in mind that the Kakariko Village resource pack hasn’t been updated for a few months now, so it’s pretty unlikely that any of its visuals are subject to change in the future.
