The New Zombie is a very well executed Minecraft mod that implements a whole lot of zombies into the game. The ‘New’ in the New Zombie mod comes due to the fact that the mod was recently given a pretty massive overhaul in which it received a whole bunch of features and updates due to which it has now become one of the highest quality mods out there. It’s definitely one of the more varied mods of its kind available because every single zombie feels uniquely designed in terms of gameplay as well as looks which shows that quite a bit of effort has gone into making it.
In the New Zombie mod, you’ll find over twenty highly unique and very well crafted zombies that you’ll get to slay on your Minecraft journeys. There have been zombie mods before this one but one downfall that they’ve all had is the fact that they tend to get repetitive after playing for a while but that won’t be the case with this one since every single zombie not only looks unique but has various unique characteristics as well that you’ll need to figure out and then use to overcome said, zombie.
The biggest highlight of the New Zombie is definitely the fact that it has some very creative zombie designs that add quite a lot of depth to the gameplay because you need to figure out creative ways to take them down otherwise they might end up getting the better of you. For example, there’s the metal zombie who moves incredibly fast and deals a pretty good amount of damage, and there’s also the explosive zombie who might be pretty easy to combat on paper but he goes out with a bang, literally, so you need to keep that in mind if you don’t want to get caught with your guard down.
