One of the most played Minecraft maps, SkyBlock Survival Map is compatible with versions — of Minecraft. The goal of using the map mod is to survive and complete challenges given during the course of the gameplay. You can use the original map, or try the hardcore version for more of a challenge. SkyBlock was the first floating island map, and most Minecraft maps are now based on it.
Your player begins by spawning on a floating island From the beginning you must survive all challenges using only the resources available to you. The rules for SkyBlock map are simple, survive, do not purposely jump off the island for health regeneration, and play with a minimum level of Easy.
The challenges given to you during the map include 49 different types. In the original version, there were 50, but since Minecraft 1.16.3, the bookcase crafting challenge has been eliminated since the current versions require you to have cows on your island in order to do this.
The challenges are listed below:

- Build a house.
- Expand the island.
- Make a melon farm.
- Make a pumpkin farm.
- Make a sugarcane farm.
- Make a wheat farm.
- Make a giant red mushroom.
- Craft a bed.
- Make 64 stone bricks.

- Make an infinite water source.
- Craft a furnace.
- Make a small lake.
- Build a platform 24 blocks away from the island for mobs to spawn.
- Make 10 cactus green dye.
- Make 10 mushroom stew.
- Craft 10 Jack ‘o’ lanterns.
- Make 10 bread.
- Collect 10 Ender-pearls.
- Cook 10 fish.
- Craft 10 Black Wool.
- Craft 10 Gray Wool.
- Craft 10 Light Gray Wool.
- Craft 10 Lime Green Wool.
- Craft 10 Red Wool.
- Craft 10 Yellow Wool.
- Craft 10 Pink Wool.

How to install SkyBlock Survival Map?
For Windows Users
- Press the Windows or Start button, then press R. This will open the Run prompt.
- Type %appdata% into the prompt and run the command.
- A folder filled with other folders will now open. Just find the Minecraft folder among these and open it.
- In .minecraft you will find another folder, saves. Move your world file into this folder and you’re all done.
For MacOS Users
- Access your particular user’s folder through Finder.
- Now you’re just clicking through folders. Go to Library, then Application Support, then .minecraft, then saves.
- Just put your world file in the saves folder and you’re all done.
For Linux Users
- Using a file manager of your choice, access the following path: ~/.minecraft/
- Find the saves folder here and move your world file into it.

Hello “Dean” what u should do next time is when you are on the skyblock just do /setworldspawn then put all your items in a chest to test it if that does not work then just go in creative and go on your island then do /setspawnpoint if that does not work then just build a “Bedrock” platform in your spawn chunk! a spawn chunk is a 16 x 16 area around your spawnpoint.

Go onto LAN world. (I hope the rest is self-explanatory)
I had the same problem, when I died, the spawn was about 20 blocks away from my island. The map was created with cheats disabled so I had to open to LAN and enable cheats so I could enter creative mode while falling and fly back up to the island. Once back up, go back to survival and expand the island out to where I was falling at.
Also, one of the challenges is to create and infinite water source but you are only given 1 ice block, where do you get the second water from to create the infinite?
maka a cauldron and place it were rain can hit it and after a while it will fill up and become a water source

I have the same issue. I downloaded the link, followed the instructions to install it, but it doesn’t appear in my list of worlds.
For the other ice block (Which is in the nether) You need to go to the sand island, grab the obsidian, make a portal, light it with lava, and Voila! The ice is in the chest you will find in the nether island.
When you first spawn in the map, open it to LAN with cheats ON. Then, go to where you want as a spawnpoint, and do /spawnpoint. If this doesnt work, just write down the coordinates on wordpad/notepad, and when it happens do /tp (Your’ name) (the coords of spawn)

I managed to do everything specified in the challenge list. Also, I managed to escape from the island to the mainland.

You get flint from gravel (Gravel is on one of the many tiny islands) and you can get iron from zombies.
May I suggest the addition of one blaze rod. That way eventually villagers can be created.

Use a hoe and right click dirt/grass and u might get one or use bone meal and plant it on grass and break the grass not the block the grass leaves and u might get one

You need to put a cover over the water to stop it from freezing. Any block will do (just a half slab is the normal way).

I haven’t played in a while, so I don’t remember how exactly all of SkyBlock works, but am I supposed to have an empty chest when I start? I thought it used to come with a melon slice and some other resources to be used later. Just curious.
Should have a block of ice and a bucket of lava. Try installing the map again.

when I tried to install it on my minecraft my game stuffed up!!! as in I could not play my game anymore!!! I was also playing on cracked minecraft 1.9 and now I am right now downloading 1.10 but I have all my important files in the save file. WHAT DID I DO WRONG!!!
