The StarkCraft Resource Pack is a modern pack that brings a refreshing twist to the vanilla look of Minecraft. If you’re an avid Minecraft player and have been playing it for a while then you know for a fact that the default look of the game has a rather medieval touch to it. Minecraft, by default, has been made to look like a medieval styled with old school textures, and while that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, these textures can get rather repetitive if you’ve been playing the game for a while. If you too feel like the game’s default look is getting repetitive and want to give it a refreshing makeover then the StarkCraft is definitely a good choice.
Due to its modern look, this pack is great if you often find yourself creating buildings based off modern architecture or building whole cities. The StarkCraft resource pack comes in a resolution of x16 which is kind of a double-edged sword because while it does mean that players will be able to use it regardless of their PC specifications, it also means that the textures lack the sharpness that they’d have at a higher resolution.
One of best things about the StarkCraft resource pack is the fact that it comes in three different versions, and this variety allows players to pick a version that’s according to their preferences. There’s the standard version that consists of every single feature that this mod has to offer, there’s a compact version that’s been compressed to a much higher degree in order to preserve space and be more efficient and finally, there’s a simple version which doesn’t have any of the pack’s sound or its special 3D effects.
