The Stellar Sky mod is one that’s been designed specifically for players who’ve looked up at the Minecraft skies and thought that it could use a whole lot of improvements. In all honesty, Minecraft can be a pretty good looking game despite its blocky art style, but the in-game sky is rather unappealing in terms of visuals. However, this mod makes a ton of changes to the sky to make it look absolutely beautiful and alongside that it even adds a bunch of functionality as well to make the gameplay a tad bit more enjoyable.
The main feature of the Stellar Sky mod that you’ll notice before all others after implementing the Stellar Sky will be a properly functioning Sun and Moon. Both the Sun and the Moon look slightly smaller than the originally did, and they also move around the sky in a diagonal manner depending on the day of time exactly as it is in the real world and this makes the experience feel much more immersive. This mod also implements stars that appear at night and make the sky feel lively. During the night sky, you’ll even be able to see the Milky Way in all its glory which is an absolutely beautiful sight.
In terms of functionality, the Stellar Sky mod allows you to customize the length of a day and a year according to your preferences which makes the experience more engaging. The mod also implements are a very intuitive user interface that allows players to look at the current time, day and, of course, the years. Alongside all these things, one of the most impressive things about the Stellar Sky mod is that it’s very smooth and doesn’t impact that game’s performance in any major way so you won’t have any lag issues when you use it.

don’t mention it needs another mod? ok then
I downloaded the mod but everything is just black when I start up minecraft.
It does have a wonderful sky view but it does not work correctly it renders many areas blank it mixes the sky and the ground so you see threw the ground and think your walking to a tunnel when its just a glitch with stellar and the api. so in all it needs work to actually work the way it is supposed to
But they can be a little bit problems.
These mods are epic i’m not gonna lie.
When I load into my world, my game works fine, but the sky is really glitchy
This mod works correctly for me at least. I think its awesome! I have it and a ambient sounds mod installed and the two together make the game alot more immersive! I normally just play on a DayZ server that i really like and it adds so much to it! The decay of the world on the map is beautiful in an odd way with the galaxy in the background.
i installed forge (after telling it where my minecraft folder is) and couldn’t install stellar API 0.6.4.1.3 for my 11.2. …i double click, nothing happens ^^ is it because my minecraft folder isn’t in the usual directory or sump’n?
please can you send this to minecraft
comand block
i thought it was a hurricane mod
when i load the map it goes black. everything not just the sky, like my screen is black.
real weird, everything is installed correctly i believe.
Cant seem to get the API file to install. Forge was fine, both stellar JAR files just load for about half a second and don’t do anything, cant see the file in Minecraft either when I try and add a resource pack
Does not work correctly. As the game loads the worlds, the sky data is invalid and the UI stays in menu mode.
