Tweekachu is a high-quality resource pack that scores quite a lot of points in terms of being unique and distinct. Almost every other resource pack nowadays focuses on adding brand new art styles and textures to the world of Minecraft in order to give players a refreshing experience. While a lot of the modern resource packs can be a treat to use, the one flaw with them is the fact that they don’t really deal with the issues that have always plagued the visuals of Minecraft but, fortunately, this changes with the Tweekachu resource pack because it’s designed for this sole purpose.
The Tweekachu resource pack basically makes a whole bunch of tweaks to vanilla Minecraft’s visuals in order to make them look more appealing and lively. Before going into the pack’s specifics, we want to point out that although the name might suggest that it has Pokémon inspired elements present in it, this isn’t actually the case. Onto the actual changes, Tweekachu does a lot of things to make the vanilla visuals of Minecraft more appealing. The pack darkens the outline of all the in-game ores, it makes grass longer so that it looks more realistic, it makes snowed grass look more lively, it gives most in-game arrows a visible outline, it modifies the textures for a lot of the commonly used in-game items such as potions and, alongside all this, the pack even makes a few changes to Elytra.
Since Tweekachu only modifies the vanilla textures instead of implementing its own, the resolution stays at the usual x16, and this is why you aren’t going to have any trouble getting this pack to run, even if you play Minecraft on a PC with low-end hardware.
