Yoyos is a mod for players who want to wreak havoc on their foes but want to look stylish while doing so. The mod adds yoyos into the game, but these yo-yos aren’t just for cosmetic purposes since they’re actually used as weapons and can actually deal an insane amount of damage to their targets. The mod definitely takes a bit of getting used to because weapons like yoyos aren’t really a common thing in Minecraft but, once you’ve figured out how yoyos work, you’re going to be hooked on using them for quite some time because they’re quite fun to destroy opponents with.
The yoyos featured in the Yoyos mod can be crafted with all the usual Minecraft materials and, in order to actually craft them, all you need is four units of the desired material, a stick and finally a single cord, made with eight strings, to round it all off with. Once all these things have been put into the crafting table, you’ll be given a yoyo with statistics depending on the material you used to craft it. It’s definitely recommended that you use a strong material to craft your yoyo because it’ll be worth it in the end due to the damage that you’ll be able to deal with said yoyo.
Other than the standard yoyos, the Yoyos mod features a variety of special yoyos as well such as the shear yoyo that you can make to cut grass in a fun way or the sticky yoyo that you can actually use as a means of getting around the game world since you’ll be able to pull yourself towards whatever the yoyo gets stuck on. Overall, while the Yoyos mod might take a bit of getting used to, it’s worth going through the learning curve because of how enjoyable the yoyos are to use.

- Download and install the recommended Minecraft Forge for your Minecraft version.

- Put the .jar file into the mods folder of your Minecraft installation.
