7 Rooms of Doom is a map featuring a selection of harsh puzzles which only become more difficult as the player progresses from room to room. Being that it’s a puzzle map and not designed for multiple people like some specific puzzle maps, you really have to play this map alone to appreciate it. Each of the rooms is unique in that it comes with its own inherent theme as well. The first is apparently some St. Louis High school, while places like a Carnival, Castle, and even a Laboratory can also be found among the map’s seven distinct rooms.
There are some adventure and parkour elements to 7 Rooms of Doom too, so it’s not all about solving puzzles, though that is by far the main focus of the map. While you’re trying to wrap your mind around the things impeding you, you’ll be faced with some combat and long jumps to add variety and spice to the otherwise singular gameplay. Overall, the map shouldn’t take more than an hour or two to complete. The puzzles were made to be solved within a span of minutes, so it’s possible to totally clear 7 Rooms of Doom within less than a half hour if you know what you’re doing.
