The hotel seems quite creepy from the outside but, since you have no recollection of past events and have no idea what else to do, you decide to head into it in order to learn more. Your goal is to roam through the hotel and search for notes that’ll give you information. Alongside this, you’ll also have to collect keys that’ll help unlock new places in the hotel for you to explore.
In terms of gameplay, Abandoned isn’t all that complex because all players can do is move around and shine their flashlights in dark areas. The ability to do nothing but run around and use a flashlight leads to a truly immersive and scary gameplay experience because, if something grim ever ends up catching up to you, you’ll have no choice but to run away and hope it spares you.
