Abducted Map 1.8.9

Abducted is a puzzle Minecraft map in which, as the name suggests, you play the role of someone who’s been abducted and is trying to escape. The map takes place in a very strange place that there seems to be no getting out of but you must go against all odds in order to escape to your freedom. The map definitely has the potential to be considered top tier, but that isn’t necessarily the case right now since it has a fair bit of technical issues. Nonetheless, it’s still fairly solid and provides an engaging experience to anyone who tries it out.

What’s most impressive about the Abducted map is that while it’s categorized mainly as a puzzle map, it still has a lot of other gameplay elements for such as parkour sequences and fighting sequences that add a ton of depth to it and make the overall experience much more enjoyable than it would be if the map were a simple puzzle map. The parkour sequences are quite challenging and fast-paced, the fighting sequences have lots of different mobs that you need to figure out how to overcome, and the puzzles are as good as they can get. The map is definitely quite challenging but is without a doubt one of the higher quality ones available in its category.

Abducted also comes with its very own resource pack that’s been built to make the experience as immersive and engrossing as it can possibly get. The artwork of this pack is very unique and peculiar, but it actually fits in nicely with the overall theme that the map is trying to go for. One important thing to remember is that Abducted will only run with Minecraft versions up until 1.8.9, so if you’re on a 1.9 variant of the client, then you’ll probably have to face a lot of difficulties when trying to run it.
