Before we head into the specific details of the Animus mod, we want to point out that this isn’t a standalone mod, so you won’t be able to use it on its own. Instead, it’s actually an addition to the critically acclaimed and hugely popular Blood Magic mod that came out a while ago and has been designed to enhance the functionality of the Blood Magic mod even further. Using the Animus mod alongside the Blood Magic mod will add multitudes of new magic related features into the game, and these features will certainly make your experience more enjoyable and engaging.
The Animus mod adds a variety of different add-ons to the game such as rituals, sigils, and various other things. The rituals have been divided into different tiers, and the tier basically determines how powerful and impactful they are. Tier 0 rituals are strong but Tier 2 visuals are on a completely different level but, at the same time, casting the higher tier rituals is a much harder task. The sigils of the mod are also quite powerful and will allow you to do a variety of different things. Through these sigils, you’ll be able to move blocks without touching them, capture the souls of mobs and release them elsewhere, build incredibly quickly and do tons of other things.
The Animus mod also features the Khopesh which is basically a melee weapon that does area of effect damage. Hitting an enemy with the Khopesh will not only deal an immense amount of damage to it, but it’ll also damage any entities that are near your target thus making it the perfect choice against large waves of bloodthirsty mobs. Finally, the mod also has a Fragment of Healing that stays in your inventory and will give you a passive health regeneration buff that can be incredibly useful in a lot of situations.
