Asleep 2 is the sequel to the hugely popular and critically acclaimed Asleep Map that came out a while back. The concept behind Asleep 2 is pretty much the same as it was in the original map so if you enjoyed playing the first, then you’ll certainly like playing the sequel. It’s worth mentioning that, while the core idea of the map is the same as the original, the gameplay has seen quite a lot of improvement, and, all things considered, this map is quite enjoyable and definitely a step above its predecessor which was on its own quite solid.
In Asleep 2, you’ll basically get to experience what it’d be like to be in your dreams and experience them consciously. Due to the unique setting, you’ll get to explore a variety of intriguing and fascinating environments that are filled with sights to see. The gameplay is quite exciting, and there’s a surprise around every corner, so things will never start to feel dull or repetitive. Also, the map isn’t particularly challenging, so you’ll probably be able to get through it without any major issues as long as you have a firm understanding of Minecraft’s basic gameplay mechanics.
Onto the technical aspects of the Asleep 2 map, there are next to no bugs so the gameplay will flow quite smoothly without any problems. The map’s been designed for single player only so, while it technically supports multiplayer, you really shouldn’t try it out because it’ll cause a whole bunch of problems. Also, the map is fairly heavy on resources, so it’s likely that you’ll encounter a bunch of frame-rate issues if you play it on a low-end PC. Overall, Asleep 2 is a really well-designed sequel to a top quality map, and we highly recommend trying it out.
