Minecraft is rarely a frightening game. Besides the occasional creeper that stalks up from behind or a random enderman spazzing out and teleporting from across the world to beat you up, nothing about the game is all that shocking. There are some players who yearn for a little bit more from Minecraft however. The Black Light map should sate horror fans everywhere with its unique design scheme, which puts a hospital literally right next to an insane asylum. The two are actually connected together by an interior bridge which the player can use to travel between both buildings.
When you first load up Black Light, you’ll soon realize you’re trapped. With no way to immediately escape the building and plenty of ways to get yourself deeper into it, it won’t be long before you run into the other residents. Without spoiling much, it’s safe to say Black Light will scare you senseless if you haven’t already tried it, or watched someone else play it. With that in mind, don’t ruin the experience by watching a Let’s Play first! If you manage to trudge through this without any help from someone else, making it to the end alive will be far more satisfying.
