Convenient Recipes Mod for Minecraft 1.8

In Minecraft, there are literally dozens of different items, tools, weapons and pieces of armor which players can craft, either with the four spaces available in their inventory or by using the 3×3 square in crafting tables. There are many items which can’t be crafted however – saddles, horse armor and name tags, just to name a few. The Convenient Recipes mod allows players to craft many of the items in Minecraft which could normally only be found in chests within dungeons, abandoned mineshafts or strongholds, or even more rarely pulled out of a body of water while fishing. It’s very nice.

The Convenient Recipes mod does more than just allow the player to make new items, too. It also lets them modify existing items. For example, you can pull the color out of items like stained glass and stained clay, or convert that hardened clay into bricks to save time farming clay and cooking it in a furnace. Probably the best thing about this mod is it doesn’t add godly items to Minecraft, or break the game in some other way; all you get is access to items you could already normally find, but they’re just easier to get because you can craft them from materials too.

How to install Convenient Recipes Mod?

1. Just install Forge and drop the ConvenientRecipes.jar file into the mod folder in your .minecraft directory.
