Out of all the amazing adventure Minecraft maps that we’ve had the pleasure to experience over the years, Detective Dan has perhaps one of the most heartfelt stories out there. The plot of the game revolves around Daniel West, a renowned detective who’s been tasked with investigating the murder of Stacy Birch. It sounds like a relatively straightforward case but the twist is that the murder profile of Stacy Birch is eerily similar to the murder profile of Dan’s own wife who died a while back. The detective must put all of his skills to use as he tries to find out the murderer and exact justice.
The gameplay of Detective Dan is absolutely packed with many thrilling and memorable moments that players are sure to enjoy as they make their way through the game world and deal with all the bad guys who are trying to stop Detective Dan in his tracks. In terms of difficulty, Detective Dan doesn’t really provide that much of a challenge if you’re a veteran Minecraft player but if you’re still relatively new to the game, then there’s a solid chance that your experience will be fairly difficult.
The approximate time you’ll spend going through the Detective Dan map is estimated to be somewhere between the 15 and 20-minute mark but this, of course, can vary significantly based on how skilled you are at playing Minecraft. As for technical issues, there seem to be none so your experience should be fairly smooth. Onto the rules, Detective Dan needs to be played on game mode 2 with the particles set to on. Unfortunately, the map doesn’t support multiplayer, but this is to be expected since the entire plot revolves around Daniel West who is one person so it’d be slightly strange to have multiplayer gameplay.
